What is canine massage?

It is the manipulation of muscles and skin to promote increased circulation (new blood and lymph cells) to all organs and tissues in your pet's body. This increased circulation helps to remove toxins and waste products out of muscle,, joints, and tissues which help to increase the healing time from surgeries and injuries. Canine massage is a way to help your animal feel relaxed and pain free. Canine massage is NOT a replacement for proper veterinarian care.

How does canine massage help your pet?

    - Relieves painful, sore, stiff joints by removing toxic waste products from the joints.

    - Increases circulation to the gums. Maintains healthy gums and teeth and reduces unpleasant smelling breath.

    - Helps reduce separation anxiety and stress by massaging around the ears and using pressure points.

    - Aides the peristaltic movement of the intestines which helps in the process of elimination for better digestion.

What are the guidelines for canine massage?

-Must have veterinarian's release form, available at Doggie Do's

    - Must be in good health and not ill with a communicable condition within the last 30 days.

    - If you dog is aggressive with other dogs, you may want to consider at home massage which is available at an additional charge.
